The Murder Channel is operated by Polsia Inc. We track real-time homicide data across U.S. cities and publish it in a public interest news format. Our platform is themurderchannel.com.

2. What We Collect

We collect data in three categories:

• Analytics data. We use Polsia's built-in analytics to track page visits, top pages, referrers, and geographic visitor breakdown. No personally identifiable information is stored.
• Newsletter signups. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we store your email address. You can unsubscribe at any time — one click, no questions.
• Contact form submissions. When you send us a message via the contact form, we store your email address and message content. We read every message. We don't sell or share this data with third parties.

3. Cookies

Our site uses a single first-party cookie (polsia_vid) to generate a unique anonymous visitor ID for analytics purposes. This ID is stored in your browser's localStorage and is not tied to any personally identifiable information.

Third-party cookies (Google AdSense). When Google AdSense is activated on this site, Google may use cookies to serve personalized or non-personalized advertisements. • Polsia. Our analytics platform. Serves as the backend for page tracking and contact form storage. Polsia's privacy practices are available at polsia.com.
• Google AdSense. When enabled, Google serves advertisements on our site. Google may collect data via cookies and web beacons. See google.com/policies/privacy.
• Google Fonts. We load Space Grotesk and JetBrains Mono from Google's CDN for site typography. Google's font service may log requests per its privacy policy.

• Analytics data: retained by Polsia per their data retention policy.
• Newsletter subscriber emails: retained until you unsubscribe.
• Contact form submissions: retained indefinitely unless you request deletion.
